Please stop with all these potential OC's that "called" the plays for teams that their HC was known for having great offenses (kiffin, heupal, etc).

Just want someone creative that can adapt to the talent and in game momentum / like no when to go with tempo.

Exactly. As long as he doesn't neglect the running game in the process. That would be my only concern.

Hard pass on anyone with an Air Raid or similar type scheme. We need a physical offense & mentality.

Klein is a good OC - we've moved the ball & won both running & throwing, shown some creativity/variation with sets (Power T in short yardage, 2 & 3 TE's, two RB's, etc.), and balanced the workload with RB's & WR's. His shortcomings have been limited to playcalling in specific situations.

100%. The Raiders sucked this year, but Kelly has a long history of good offenses. He was OC at Ohio State last year when they won it all.

That is actually a great idea. As soon as a play ends and we know the down and distance (though the down and distance sometimes has meant very little when the staff calls a play) all of us online presses a play number that includes the play, formation, motion, etc. It is sent directly to someone on the sideline who calls in the play.

Plenty of time to get the play called an run, particularly if you eliminate all the lineman pointing and touching each other on the hip, just run the damn play we called!!!

I totally trust Elko to get the guy that fits best.

Look over at Texas State. GJ Kinne is talented, young, played well in Canton/Gilmer and Tulsa. Knows a ton of Texas high school coaches. He's innovative. Just needs talent to execute. An up and coming Kingsbury.
