Yeah but nobody was as efficient at scoring against the Cubas of the world than Wondo. Never mind we were playing down a man every time he played against a team with a pulse.

Oh, I agree. It's just that every time that game comes up, it's all "Landon Donovan would have scored." He probably would have if he'd been at that spot at that moment, but that wasn't his position and role.

I'm still mad Ireland went along with them last week, although Ireland has recently had some LGBQTXYZWKJHJGL issues as well

I don't understand why Weah and Sargent both aren't on the field. Hell I don't care about the result so stop packing it in, make some subs, and see what these kids can do.

Green had 2 touches he entire game and got a great goal.

Wood just doesn't have it. Not at Hamburg, not on the USMNT.

Really impressed with Adams. Hoping he goes to Germany.

I think Wood has a lot to give, just not in a lineup/strategy we were running tonight.

Green did score, but he had a pretty bad game. He never got on the ball or provided outlets imo. We looked a lot better once the game got about 20 minutes in, and the first 15-20 of the second half.

In a game that was meaningless for us and where France wanted to head off to Russia looking the part of. WC contender, we fought our tails off and drew with one of the top 2-3 teams in the world. Very proud of the effort given by the youngsters and their dedication to a system that didn't necessarily highlight their abilities but led to a result.
Very reminiscent of the US team in the early 2000's that played for one another and got the result. Great night!
