26 shots for Brazil
8 for Belgium
8 for Belgium
Crazy, huh? Take away the own goal and we're going into ET. I realize Belgium was playing with the lead, but Brazil dominated the majority of the game. Again, amazing defense/goalkeeping for Belgium.Lt. Joe Bookman said:

Neymar is really good when he isn't a flopping douchbag
I counted at least 3 situations where the Brazil striker had a good, open look at the goal and missed. Brazil dominated the 2nd half.PatAg said:AustinAg2012 said:Crazy, huh? The vast majority of those shots were from 25+ yards out and not very threatening. I don't think Brazil dominated much of the game at all. They tried to force it on the ground through the center and didn't really have success until they started working it wide the last 25 or so minutes.
How sad that when he only flops 2-3 times we say he didn't flop much.deddog said:Yup.ja86 said:

He didn't flop much today, but was probably "penalized" for his previous preposterous flops.
There were at least a couple of fouls on him that weren't called.

He also avoided a card for simulation.

You can't take away the own goal
that was an elbow shot into the goal that's a PK best case for Brazil
Belgium matched Brazil's speed and strength that destroyed Mexico
that is a class Belgian side and I think they beat France then England 5 nil in the final

I always love seeing fans inconsolable during soccer matches. It reminds me how far away the US is, culturally, from the powerhouses. They cry when they concede a goal, here in America we cheer for our biggest rivals(mexico).

No soccer for me this morning. We are making a road trip/pilgrimage to Snows BBQ. Leaving the house at 7:30 am for BBQ ranks as one of the weirder things I've done.
Sirius XM App on the phone works pretty well and they have a 7 day free trial. Don't have to add streaming service and that cost if it is a onetime thing.mathguy86 said:
I do. But I figure I will be sitting in line.
