Neymar. Sheesh.
We all say this every World Cup. Hopefully VAR is proof that FIFA can evolve but seems like just "part of the game" right now.titanmaster_race said:
At some point FIFA has to start handing out suspensions or cards or fines for the excessive flopping
When Neymar is heading into the box he has some decent opportunities but it sometimes plays out like his brain switches from how do i get a shot off to when can i fall and simulate a foul...bagger05 said:
Sad thing is if he would have stayed upright he would have generated a really good scoring chance.
He would be such a better player if his first instinct wasn't to go down.
Yeah, that easily could have been a penalty but ref is clearly not sympathetic to Brazil's desire to flop their way to glory.GrapevineAg said:
It appears that Brazil doesn't think they can score unless it's from the spot.
If they're not gonna card for flopping in the box, giving a PK for that last one would have been pretty harsh on Belgium, imho. Brazil = little boy who cried wolf.
Just saying the same thing. Coutinho has no room right there.young eugene said:
Fellaini and Witsel playing great defense. not giving Brazil any chances on top of the box
I think Belgium content staying compact and will allow Brazil to play with the ball 25 yrds from goal.Brazil have no answer for Debruyne and Lukaku with Hazard trailingAustinAg2012 said:
Brazil's dominated this half. Just can't break the seal.

This is the Kompany challenge. This is a bad miss by the ref and VAR. the ball is clearly in play and that's a PK and YC and borderline serious foul play with the exposed studs into the ankle.
