That miss by the third Russian is going to haunt him for a while. Hope he's still alive after tonight.

I think Croatia beats England. Belgium over France.

Well England have to be glad to see Croatia win. Would be surprised if their keeper can play in the semifinal plus the other injuries.

England hasn't been that great but Croatia has a lot more miles on them at this point.

I'd love to have a cut of the flare sales in Croatia

Will be interesting to see if Croatia's midfield can dominate.

Not many people had these as your final 4

These are the 4 teams I wanted to see in the semis, and I think a BEL-CRO final would be a lot of fun.

Yes, when there were 8 teams left, these are the 4 I wanted to see advance. Not even saying I predicted them (I didn't). But since you brought it up, a month ago, I still would have wanted to see England and Croatia in the semis.

Wife and I have watched almost every game past the group stage.

Watching today's matches....

Her: Funny how there have been so few fouls in these games.

Me:. No Latinos.

Her:. Yep.

She caught on to this sport quickly.

My wife and mother in law were discussing at dinner tonight going to England this weekend for whichever game ends up happening (they're English). It's only 30k miles

Me - "I really can't disappear from work this week "

Wife - "yeah, I think I'm gonna go anyways"

Me. - "well, I guess I'll watch the dogs"

Going to England... for a game in Russia?

Not sure I get that. I mean it looks the same on TV here as it does there.

It's not about watching the game but being around your people, family and friends.

If you were an Astros fan would you rather be in Houston when they won the World Series or watching from your apartment in Kentucky?

For me personally it's not worth the effort to go but they have a place to stay and miles, so who cares? I don't think they'll actually go. We were just over in May.

I'd stay in Kentucky unless I had tickets.

I have Brit friends actually. They do make a point of getting together here with friends to watch the games or at a local Brit pub but none of them are going to England to watch it there.

Personally if the Ags were in the NC in say Pasadena and I did not have tickets I would stay in Dallas I would not go to CS to watch it there.

Anyway to each his own...I just don't get it I guess. Free airfare by miles and a place to stay is certainly more understandable.

Ran into a whole tour of Colombians I'm Helsinki and these guys were not the classiest group of folks. Absolutely no communication even with the so called universal hand signs. Went for the team support but where they come up with the money as it is not cheap?

I'll let you know how it is (just happen to be in London for work this week) and if flying over just to go to a watch party would be worth it to me

I think it makes sense. I hope they have a good trip

I think the difference is that you could easily be surrounded by a ton of Ags if you stayed in Dallas to watch a game. You'd be by your own people. There's plenty of brits here in the states but no watch party would compare with the big ones they're throwing in London or any other big English city.

I wouldn't spend the time going there but to each their own.

yeah that's what i said - to each his own.

i mean it's just a personal thing - i wouldn't even actually go to a place to watch locally with other aggies. I either go to the game in person or I stay home and watch. Never even been to a local aggie watch party. But that's just me maybe.

Not trying to argue anyone out of doing it if they want, I'm sure it would be exciting if they won especially, the celebration videos of like Croatia in the public square are amazing.
