Exactly. If you want that play not to happen, change the LOTG to make it an automatic goal (like coming off the bench to make a tackle in football). The penalty is extraordinarily severe and worse than giving up a goal in almost all situations. The play against Ghana was a rare situation where this was the right move.

I always love seeing fans inconsolable during soccer matches. It reminds me how far away the US is, culturally, from the powerhouses. They cry when they concede a goal, here in America we cheer for our biggest rivals(mexico).
