I'm not sure I'd go that far but sissoko is a big piece to this team. I would probably play him above winks right now but they're different players. I'm just not sure who you would place on the bench right now....Tanguy is a star, dele, Eriksen, son, Lucas, winks, sissoko, etc. great problem to have

I love winks but he's a role player. Great piece but not on that level.

Sure didnt like Poch's comments today.

We sure seem to be on the cusp of staying top 4 and getting a trophy soon....and to piss him off by not making the moves he wants sure is frustrating.

He's always complaining at one moment and happy the next. He's emotional. I wouldn't worry just yet.

9 days left...let's see what other pieces come in. Could be a motivating speech to kick Levy into spending the money needed.

I just couldn't be more excited this year. Have plans to try to see new stadium in November and catch the Bournemouth game. Just worried about tickets.

Still can't believe we have Eriksen

Winks, Sissoko, and Ndombele are special
DSanchez sure looked awesome today
Alli looked healthy

Hopefully another exciting season ahead!

I'm an outsider but I've always rooted for Tottenham when not playing Liverpool, so take this however you want. I think Poch is one of the best managers in the world and was rightfully pissed last summer when y'all literally did nothing. NOTHING!!!

I think after making the CL final last year, he should be able to sign damn near anyone he wanted because he proved his worth yet again...give the man a world class team and he'll give you world class results.

I promise you that the fans will look back in a couple years, when he's gone, and be pissed. He really should leave Spurs next time he has a chance.

People over react to the lack of signings. Whoever was responsible for the roster obviously felt they weren't in it for anyone that would improve the team. After making the champions league final, and another top 4 finish it's pretty hard to argue. Poch is the coach. At Tottenham that isn't the gm, much like most American sports.

He's so freaking good. I was So worried when we let dembele go because there are only a few players that powerful in soccer and turns out we had one of the other ones on our roster.

A week from tomorrow - COYS!

Now if we can just close out with Lo Celso/Fernandes and Ryan Seesgnon before then

Seems like Fernandes to Spurs is gaining more and more momentum with Lo Celso deal floundering a bit. Obviously can't get both with Eriksen staying but if he by chance departs, signing both may not be far fetched.

Still the glaring need is fullback. Are we selling Danny Rose or not? With Foyth injury, we are extremely thin...

Buckle up. The final week of the transfer window os gonna be a wild ride!

COYS!

I really hope we don't let Rose go....he has looked great since the end of last season and he would be a good mentor for Sessegnon. But if we don't get Ryan this off season we will probably get him next year due to his contract being up in 2020.

Fernandes might fit the club needs a little better than Lo Celso anyways but would love to have either or.

Haven't seen any updates on Foyths ankle...he looked decent so far this offseason but I'm not confident in a committee of him and KWP.....need Serg to show up healthy and as good as his potential was when we signed him.

CRAZY to me that we didn't put any focus on signing a world class RB after getting a great deal on Tripp....

Here's what I see right now

Goalie: Lloris/Gazzaniga

CB: Vertonghen/ALderweild/Sanches/
Backs: Rose/Aurier/Davies/Walker-Peters/Foyth

Wings: Son/Alli/Lamela
CAM: Eriksen
CDM: Sissoko/Ndombele/Winks/Dier/Wanyama

F: Kane/Moura

Backs and backup to Kane still scare me...everything else is excellent

Total roller coaster

Eriksen saga needs to end this week too. Resign or ship off

Eriksen's body language is telling the story. Who knows what will happen with Lo Celso but I hope we can get him in the fold. Too many conflicting reports/rumors to know which way this one is heading.

Talks over Fernandes have really gained traction since last week and would love to get him but once again, no concrete details one way or the other.

Now there's news that Dybala/Man U is off, which bodes we'll for Spurs.

Bottom line, Eriksen needs to go. We can't afford to keep him on this season based on what we've seen from his attitude then let him walk on for free the next season.

We need a right back desperately now that we know Foyth's injury is substantial and will miss weeks, if not months. We still don't know what will happen with Rose and Toby is still being connected with transfer rumors.

Buckle up. It's gonna be a wild week! COYS!

Not ideal to strengthen a rival, but it's obvious to let Eriksen go. Can't afford to let him walk on a free next season and mentally he's out of it per his body language this pre season.

Hopefully this will be what's needed to get deals for Lo Celso and/or Fernandes (hopefully both) over the line.

No Dybala which I'm fine with.
Probably still see some players get sold to Spain or Italy.
