You'll get at least one good season out of him but you won't enjoy it very much.
He will likewise hate our financial commitment. He only wants to buy talent. Not interested and growing from within which is a key to Tottenham success.

Didn't want a change but if one had to happen I'm glad they went bold. Also wouldn't expect them to invest this much in a manager if they didn't plan to also invest in the transfer market.
Excited to see the game tomorrow. COYS!

I agree and this also frustrates me. You could have just financially invested in your already strong coach.

just woke up so i missed all but the last WH goal.
guess it was a good start, seemed a little weak at the end. And that's where we need the most help - finishing and defense in general. So maybe those late goals give JM some things to work on.
Just watched the highlights... looked like we were flying early. Dele and Son very active.

The first 35 minutes were AWFUL. Poor discipline, no urgency. The goal before half lit a fire and 2nd half looked much better. But Olympiacos is not a good team so it's difficult to be positive even with the 2nd half comeback.
I also agree with Timmy Howard's post game comments that Jose pulling Dier in the 30th is not a good sign for Dier. Jose has since made comments in support of Dier and saying it was strictly tactical given the 2 goal deficit, but I still think it's a sign that players will have a short leash.
