Legit teared up when Messi was smiling and waving to the crowd.

I wonder how the officiating crew will grade out. 130 minutes and PKs, and no calls that I really hated.
I would say he passed his assessment. 74. Maybe 75.
I thought it was EXCELLENTLY officiated....tip of the cap to that head official

if a keeper can win MOTM in a match with 6 goals, Martinez would be the guy. All time great save at the end of ET. Dominates the penalty shootout.
Stop, good grief

For the record that's an inside joke. An assessment in the US is graded on a 0-100 scale with 70 passing. No one and I mean no one ever gets above an 80. 74 or 75 is typical on a well done match.

I'm not actually giving him MOTM. But he made one of the biggest saves of all time. The kick save at the end of extra time saved the World Cup. You realize how big that is right?

It is pretty lackluster… and small.

Maybe, but it is still 1000% better than most pro trophies. I have it second only behind the Stanley Cup.
you'd have to settle that in international waters:Olsen said:
Messi is up there with Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Secretariat, etc…

Sure. Other than the guy I responded to who 100% would have gotten in.
