Kind of hope Forest royally screw up the run-in and fall out of a CL spot. They should sell themselves as "If you like Bruno's histrionics, then we got 11 players just for you."

To be fair, we have had chances. Elanga scored on their only real chance
Brighton and Newcastle are both only 1 point behind City. Both can happen.
We haven't really created good chances. 20+ shots and an xG of barely over 1.

I have no faith in Forest maintaining this beyond this season. They are riding their luck and even with CL football, it will be hard to compensate for when that luck runs out. But with a FA Cup semi and 3rd place/9 points ahead in the CL race, I'm sure their fans don't care one bit about when their luck runs out. Could argue given the injection of money in the league since 2016, that this as big a story as Leicester winning it all.
He's much lower profile than Newcastle's owners but Forest's owner is problematic for very different reasons. None of the charges have stuck as far as I know but he's had a lot of charges.
Thought this was an interesting bit of information in the Athletic's post game writeup.

I was thinking that it was Mourinho who had snuck in a stolen the bus keys after he parked it.
The City player just threw the ball in straight to Yoro, who misplayed it so badly he had to take a card for it.

That certainly was a game of football. Both teams were just sloppy with a lot of simple mistakes being made.
There were spells were United's play to get into the attacking third was really good. But it just completely crumbled most of the time once it got there. Story of the season.

Athletic with a good summary of why I thought Casemiro might be subbed out early to rest for the EL match. He's actually been...good.
Amorim has admitted to using him differently and it appears to be reaping rewards. Casemiro is tasked with covering less ground and it seems to have made him much more effective if in the area that he does cover. Means that his partner, whether its Ugarte, Bruno, or Mainoo has to be cover a lot more area though.

I didn't realize that Liam Delap has a 30m GBP relegation clause in his contract. No wonder everyone and their dog is mentioned as having interest in him. 30m for a 22 year old forward who has 12 EPL goals on a really bad team is probably one of the better values you're going to find in the market.
I think even United could potentially afford that but they are highly unlikely to compete on wages if Chelsea get serious with their interest. Delap would be interesting but I think there would be challenges with a Delap/Hojlund/Zirkzee forward selection. But realistically it only happens if Delap wants a prospect of playing time over big game/European football, if McKenna can woo him about the benefits of United, and if Wilcox has some sort of relationship as a result of bringing him into City's academy when he was 16. That's a lot of ifs. I'm not holding by breath.
