We are asking and getting a lot in crucial games from a player that seemingly has bo realistic chance of being a United player in July (Lindelof).
I thought that red cards for DOGSO in the box were a thing of the past? I thought it was ruled to be too egregious and thus was changed to yellow if in the box unless the foul was violent (and that clearly wasn't violent)?

On DOGSO in the area, if there is an attempt to play the ball you downgrade to Yellow and give the PK. If there is no attempt to play the ball (basically a hold) that's still Red and PK. Basically if it's that cynical, you cheated so you go off.
This is clearly a hold, but to me it's right on the edge of DOGSO. The issue is could Hojlund have gotten to that ball without the hold. He's clearly the only one who could have. But could he have gotten on it?

There are only 2 matches left in the season and this wasn't one of them. Rested and rotated everyone. Mainoo and Amad played to get back in shape. Move on to Thursday.
