**JUST MY OPINION. NOT TRYING TO TROLL**

In my personal opinion and what I believe to be general league-wide opinion, CP3 is a higher regarded PG than Parker. Whether he actually is or not when broken down category by category I guess is up for debate.

As most of you know, I'm a Bulls fan and the current Bulls roster is built around the PG position. If right now you told me I could replace Rose with any NBA PG, I would rank as follows:

1. R. Westbrook (partially because he's the most similar to Rose)
2. C. Paul
3. D. Williams
4. T. Parker

I also know that Rose regarded those four + Rondo as the elite PGs in the NBA and always elevated his game when he played them (lots of mutual respect).

Again, that's just my personal opinion. Not trying to troll.

and honestly, i'm only putting parker behind paul because paul gets to the line so damned much. i can't fully blame him for taking advantage of the system with his flops. it's not his fault the league babies pg's.

if you want to sit and spew stats as the end all, be all, that's your prerogative, but my list is a hybrid of both stats and overall contributions and worth to the team. paul took a team with blake griffin and deandre jordan and only managed 40 wins. he's not a greek god. he's just a really really good pg who knows how to work the system.

If building a team and I had a choice of PGs for next year, here's my rank, and D. Rose is omitted because of the uncertainty of his future, not because he's not top 5 worthy.

1) CP360 (I'm not sure there is any guard who plays the rules more than the Heliflopter. My least favorite player on this list, but defensively he is clearly better than anyone among the top PGs except Rondo).

2) Deron Williams - So hard to rank because he plays on a bad team. If he goes to a current playoff team for next year, look out.

3) Russell Westbrook - Highest ceiling, and gets better each year.

4) Tony Parker

5) Rajon Rondo - Good Rondo might be the top guy, but I'd still take the other 4.

Paul- 19.8ppg, 9.1apg, 3.6rpg, 86% FT, 37% 3pt, 48% FG
Parker- 18.3ppg, 7.7apg, 2.9rpg, 80% FT, 23% 3pt, 48% FG

so, yes, this year Chris Paul is dominating Tony Parker in both media perception (see: MVP race predictions), and is literally better than him statistically.

I'd rather Clipps end it now. The more time the spurs have to out scheme someone the better. If Memphis keeps it going, you can't really prep for one or the other.

Per 48 minutes:
Paul:
26.2 points
47.8% / 37.1% / 86.1%
12.0 assists
4.4 a/t ratio

Parker:
27.4 points
48% / 23% / 79.9%
11.6 assists
3.0 a/t ratio

In PG stats/48 minutes, they are pretty even except in a/t ratio (but both are elite) and 3PT% (although Parker takes very few threes). Parker has 1.4 more ppg, Paul has .4 more assists per game.

Yes, I think Paul is a somewhat better PG than Parker, but they are both outstanding at the position and fit their respective teams' systems quite well.

What about the PER per 48, because Paul blows him away on regular PER.

I'm sticking with my MEM in 7 prediction. They are going to win 3 straight and then come into our gym and give us all we can handle because we've been sitting for 8 freakin days.

Spurs will beat either team in five. Not concerned at all. Memphis is a shell of what they were last year and spurs are on fire.
