Plus Galli (21.4) + Capela (19.7) + Bogdan (18mm) + Hunter (9.8) + Okungwu (6.4) + Reddish (6). Plus Trae's extension, which would be about 35mm. That's 146.3 before you do anything with Huerter and you only have 8 players. That's 6mm into the 140mm lux tax before you fill our your roster and they have the #20 pick this year, too. Huerter is probably worth 18-25mm.

Matching Collins will be tough. But not matching him could tank the team.

Trae will be worth the Rose Rule max, so 30% of the cap. $116mm=~35mm for Trae.

Why would we give up 4 first rounders on Simmons who has a broken jump shot? If we said no then I'm glad we did.

That's a haul that's offered for players who have everything and are elite or close to it - Paul George, Anthony Davis, James Harden. Ben Simmons is a great player, I don't mean to argue whether he'd help the Spurs or not, but no team should mortgage their future to take Ben Simmons off of the Sixers. This is similar to the Kawhi predicament we were in. He wanted out, everyone knew it, and he tanked his value. Simmons' performance hurt his value, and everyone knows Philly wants to move on.

only way they do that is if they can get higher into the lottery. sincerely doubt they would consider doing that just to move up 8 spots. otherwise i would definitely pull the trigger. Cam is only 20 and is probably more talented than any of the guys we could get at 12.

Sengun might be available. I think Giddey will be gone by then. If I put money on it, I think both will be gone by 12.

Yup. DeMar is probably a MLE candidate now for the Lakers if he does want to play there.

There has been a report that he DeMar wants between $20MM-$23MM per year. Few teams have cap space for this, but he has been tied to NYK who does have some cap space. Not too sure what sign and trade options are out there for a contender. I have also heard LAC, but there is no one on that team that is enticing, nor do they have a lot of 1st round picks if I'm not mistaken.
