And also has the 3rd worst rim defense in the league after two guards. He's a traffic cone that is partly melted in the sun.Trucker 96 said:
Yeah, it was a weird trade given Mark Williams is constantly broken.

I really wish we'd have gotten knecht in that trade as well

It wouldn't have made any sense from a roster construction standpoint. His defense is terrible.
Not getting as many picks and swaps as possible was the real issue.
It needed to be AD, Christie, Reaves, and 2 unprotected firsts.shack009 said:zgolfz85 said:

Lots of speculation that Kidd was a lot more aware and approving of the trade than was let on.

The above doesn't matter. You don't trade Luka. Not for Giannis or SGA or Morant.
This trade will have to result in 2 titles before AD retires before it can even be considered a wash, because Luka likely wins at least 1 title.
It would be best for everyone if Nico resigns at the end of the season.
That stood out to me as well. Shaq came into the regular season in great shape his rookie year and then in 2000 after getting swept by Duncan and Robinson the year before.J.P. 03 said:
I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but I do think it's hilarious that he included Shaq on that list of maniacal hard workers. If anything, Shaq was the poster child for "let him do whatever he wants as long as he shows up for games because he's a generational talent."
The only person on that list that qualifies as maniacal hard worker that doesn't also have a narrative around them as a guy that thoroughly enjoyed his non-work time is Kobe.J.P. 03 said:

The quote is that they were singularly focused on working hard, not that they merely worked hard. Are you under the impression that a guy that made All-NBA 5 times doesn't work hard? Just rolls out of bed and is one of the top 3 players in the league between drinking beer?Guitarsoup said:
If you don't think that Jordan and Bird worked hard to be in shape and develop skills you don't know ball.
