id be THRILLED with joni taylor
Do I think so? No, Texas is a better women's basketball brand due to Jody's work there. But I like my school more..hoopzfan said:OMG, that would be monumental! But do you really think he would leave the powerhouse he's building? My concern is that he's got the Horns off to such a great start in his first two years. He's already had recruiting success and it is only going to get better as a result. Would he leave that for a total rebuild?greg.w.h said:If Vic is the one, I think would be huge. I don't think Vic will turn it down, and all parties will figure out the money

I did. Bjork said they're not ready to announce but likes the way the process is working abd thinks it is the right process. Like he reads my comments here or something…aggiedrjdub said:fitzwatema said:

Banner day for Louisville athletics but I think many sleeping on the fact Jeff Walz told Texas A&M and $2mill/year to keep on walking.

Go Cards!
Waltz is not leaving ........every school has tried...they offer his bucks then his school matches and he stays right where he is with a big raise.....2 yrs ago MSST thought they had him.....he did it again...greg.w.h said:
I never know what to believe when a hire doesn't happen. But I think that would have worked fine…
I still refuse to believe in our most important women's sport that we can't hire the absolute best. I reject we can't get the best. I think $2 million is an economic choice, yes, for getting someone like Jeff (or Dawn for that matter.)
Choosing not to get it done is choosing to not have the best. With that said, I am content with this hire. I've watched her in the sideline and seen her recruiting and I think she has a lot of upside. But Texas A&M needs to develop an administration approach that chooses to be second to none.
