If true, then at least we made a run at my #1 choice. I would have offered a bit more to lure him, but I think he just loves Louisville and won't go anywhere else. He's a great coach with incredible fan support there.

I think the right coach will always find the right school. It really all boils down to recruiting very well consistently and putting the right bodies in the right spaces. I'm waiting to see who commits to following coach Taylor and who doesn't and then how is her recruiting over the next 2-3 years. Excited to see what happens.

Coach Joni Taylor was not on my list but probably did not consider her as a possibility. That being said I believe she is a GREAT HIRE and will be highly successful leading our ladies basketball program.

Outscored maybe, but never beaten!
