That would make sense. I must have heard it wrong as did closed caption.

Gonna be interesting to listen to Brandel tonight. He's gone from LIV could only get has beens to LIV took easy pickings, to LIV took the 'best money could buy' but as of 2 days ago still wanted to punish the guys and not award them OWGR points or RC spots. The players have long since gotten over it. Time for the media to as well.
Yep. Great final round.Bunk Moreland said:
And on a completely neutral note... This is one of the best major final rounds of recent years. It wasn't over till the 17th. We had the most amazing and uplifting story in Block. World #2 was in it. The final group didn't have a dud. PGA of America should be very proud. The course was awesome

Nothing about the argument has anything to do with the quality of golfers that went to LIV. Surely you know that. Of course Brooks and DJ and Smith are still great. Heck, I know there were even rumors of Brooks wanting to come back, though not sure how true they were.AgLA06 said:Yesterday said:
LIV golf with a strong showing!
Hopefully that shuts up the PGAT about WG points. These major results for LIV have blown that argument up.
Snub him on the handshake? Are we watching something different?AustinCountyAg said:
I got a good chuckle watching brooks snub the official on the hand shank.
This SHOULD shut up all the LIV haters with there terrible takes but it probably won't. Great tournament to watch. Loved the crappy weather on Saturday and the more playable course today. Not doubt the best golfer this week won the tournament.
He's the most cold-blooded golfer of our era. Dude is unfazed in the big time moments. Golf is more fun when he's playing well.Bunk Moreland said:

Honestly, the fans are who have lost in all this LIV stuff. Watching him and DJ and them compete week in and week out is gone.

Schadenfreude (and the psychological issues that it speaks to) aside, how has the golf competition week in and week out gotten better for the fans?AgLA06 said:Buck Compton said:He's the most cold-blooded golfer of our era. Agree to disagree. It's been awesome to see karma hit and those guys made things better for the fans and players.

Agree sort of, but wasn't that the original point of the reason for LIV? PGAT waited too long to cater to their stars.
Personally I haven't been that bothered. I use a roku on all my tv's so going to the CW app to watch LIV golf has been like changing the channels for me. I probably watch net slightly more golf than before when both tours have a good Sunday but otherwise it's easy enough to follow along.
The only tournaments where I miss the liv guys are the 2nd tier PGAT events. Those fields are thinner

They didn't wait too long. They didn't have the votes. The tour is the players. The rank and file outnumber the stars and wouldn't vote to re-organize the tour in the stars (and not their) favor.
ironically I bet you also complain about big 12 teams making it into the playoffs based on SOS.AgLA06 said:
I wouldn't. I'd send the top 20 from PGAT, LIV, and DP World tour and let the majors invite who they wanted otherwise. I think made up points are worthless at this point anyway.
Of course that won't work because the PGAT might not get as many players as normal. And that should tell you all you need to know.

Yet that's exactly what they did.

LIV tournaments can be a joke and the best LIV players can contend in majors. Both are true.
