Pretty sad when a coach with Parkinson's ( Joe Biden of coaching) Bk can out recruit and go further in the tournament than y'all's end all be all beloved Buzz. But, hey Buzz is a million times better despite those short comings. Everybody says so.

BK had one very good recruiting class that was put together by Avery Johnson. BK used that class to help get a good team to the Sweet 16 as Fish.

He then, with that one good recruiting class, got to a second Sweet 16 with them as Jrs.

Rest of his years were not very productive.
And those players all generally underperformed their potential which was the real issue. And that doesn't count the one we lost to a sea creature.

But calling for Buzz to be canned...or even expressing buyers remorse when he is not even 2 seasons into this job is just stupid.
It's as if a bunch of whiners want to run our athletic department into the ground to the point where no coach would want to come here.

I agree, but part of the problem is quick results other schools have seen:

Bob Knight @TT took them from 9-19 the year before he arrived to 23-9, national ranking and NCAA Tournament.
Chris Beard took TT to the Elite 8 in Year 2 and National Title game in Year 3.
Grant McCasland took them to the NCAA tournament and national rankings both of his first two years there. The jury is still out on whether he can take them for a deep tournament run, and I have my doubts. Living and dying off 3s isn't a recipe for March success.

Terry at UT took them to the Elite 8 his first year, albeit with Beard's players.

Nothing seems to happen that fast at A&M except for when Billy G was here, and people are understandably impatient.

This still being an active thread is the KPI for how little aggies know ball.

BK was horrid. Program was dead. No one gave a **** for years and we're just waiting for him to be fired

Buzz is a way better coach than BK.

His NCAA tournament record currently begs to differ. No sweet 16's to 2.
Only on TexAgs is the guy with a 119-71 (.626) coaching record a worse coach than the guy with a 151-116 (.566) coaching record. On top of their records, Buzz is coaching in a far better SEC than BK was. Then, you can also consider that to get to the Sweet 16 one of those years, BK faced 11 seed Northern Iowa, while last year, Buzz played 1 seed UH and took them to OT.

Once again only on TexAgs can you claim in one breath the regular season and SEC tournament (ie a loss to tu) don't matter. But, in the same breath claim it's all about tournament wins. But, the coach who has gotten you further in the tournament is worse than the one who hasn't because the one who hasn't LOST a close game to a number 1 because his team couldn't hit free throws of all things.Keep moving the goal posts to meet your bs narrative if it makes you feel better.
This doesn't even make sense. BK missed the tournament in 75% of the seasons he coached here. Arguing that he's better than Buzz is stupid.

No. He's lucky we kept him after his diagnosis.

For several years we carpooled to EVERY home Big 12 game with another couple. From San Antonio. All 4 of us were still working.

For 8:00 starts we could get a very quick bite to eat and be at Reed before the game started. We would get home around 2:30 am.
For 7:00 starts there was no eating and we would get to our seats around the first media TO. We would get home around 1:30 am.

The next day was always a loonngg day.

One night on a return after game trip, I said we are putting out more effort going to the games than the team was putting out playing the games. And I'm not doing it anymore. All 4 agreed.

When we hired Buzz my wife and I renewed our BB season tickets.
