Seems strange, since we struggle to even make the tournament now while he won a conference title and took us to the Sweet 16 (as far as we've ever been) twice. But you do you.
Its a big world, feel free to also follow and root for the tesm that Bk is the head coach for now!

Buzz has been a lateral move at best. And when you factor in his salary it is a step backwards.

And I am sure many will argue that "he didn't know" or something along those lines - which I believe is BS.

We have had 4 straight 20 win seasons. BK had 3 in 8 years.
We are going to the NCAA tournament for the 3rd straight season, BK never did that.
BK went 14-17 in his final season and left absolutely nothing in terms of recruiting for Buzz.
We have been ranked in the AP Poll every week this entire season. That has never happened before in the history of this program.
There is a reason no one has given BK another shot at being a HC he was an abject disaster and Buzz has brought this program back from the dead.

We kept him longer than we should have. Two sweet 16's one was pure luck biggest choke in ncaa tourney history. Those two sweet 16' games the game was over in the first 5 minutes blown out. He had so many games where we just got pounded. Buzz keeps it close but it's a disgrace to fundamental basketball. Not sure that Indiana would tolerate this garbage.

BK was terrible from day 1. Got lucky to get a good assistant coach and recruiter.

Sure, the UNI game took a lot of luck, but we also had to perform. We made clutch buckets, forced turnovers, and avoided fouling when necessary. What we did that game was incredible. And the dumping on Buzz and the current squad is lame too. This team is great for us.

bk has more ncaa wins than buzz. Look bk was really good or really bad but he made more sweet 16s in Aggie history than most coaches. Buzz has exactly 1 ncaa wins so far in his career here. Let's see how they do this year but if we don't make the sweet 16 that will be exactly 3 ncaa wins in buzz career at a&m. How does that make him so much better than bk? Regular season wins then??
Obviously, winning in the tournament matters the most, but regular season achievements are vastly under appreciated here, IMO. BK only made the tournament twice. Buzz has had us in the last three years…should be four. Knocking off No. 1 Auburn, making it to the SEC Championship game two years in a row, being ranked for the entire season, the comeback win over Iowa State, are solid achievements that I look back on fondly and feel like we've seen a level of consistency each season that we did not see under Kennedy.Ags #1 said:

Buzz is a way better coach than BK.
IMO the tournament is the most import at thing in hoops. Buzz has now made it 3 years in a row which is great, and has 3-4 really good regular seasons. but turg and bk made it and won when they did. Turg imo is the most underrated coach we had. Sure he complained all the time but he made the dance consistently and a bs could call away from knocking off ucla. Of course Billy Clyde is the best ever

That UCLA loss caused one of my worst childhood sports meltdowns lol I was like 10 years old and had an asthma attack from crying afterwards. Looking back, it's wild they had Russ and Kevin Love, two bonafide hall of famers and then on top of that, Darren Collison, a decent NBA player and we played them that tight.

Only on TexAgs is the guy with a 119-71 (.626) coaching record a worse coach than the guy with a 151-116 (.566) coaching record. On top of their records, Buzz is coaching in a far better SEC than BK was. personally i could not stand watching his teams play. even in his sweet sixteen seasons i watched less aggie basketball than i hav in some of buzz first few seasons. i just could not stand their style of play. i am a big defensive fan in basketball. it might be ugly but i love teams that play great defense. BK team did not.

Once again only on TexAgs can you claim in one breath the regular season and SEC tournament (ie a loss to tu) don't matter. But, in the same breath claim it's all about tournament wins. But, the coach who has gotten you further in the tournament is worse than the one who hasn't because the one who hasn't LOST a close game to a number 1 because his team couldn't hit free throws of all things.Keep moving the goal posts to meet your bs narrative if it makes you feel better.
Pretty sad when a coach with Parkinson's ( Joe Biden of coaching) Bk can out recruit and go further in the tournament than y'all's end all be all beloved Buzz. But, hey Buzz is a million times better despite those short comings. Everybody says so.

BK had one very good recruiting class that was put together by Avery Johnson. BK used that class to help get a good team to the Sweet 16 as Fish.
He then, with that one good recruiting class, got to a second Sweet 16 with them as Jrs.
Rest of his years were not very productive.
