The shot discrepancy in our game against them was only 1, and we made 13 3s in that game. The UT/UGA box score is way more lopsided.

That Millender kid really wet the bed in the last possession. He had multiple opportunities to make a pass to a teammate for an open 3, but he just put his head down and went to the cup. No awareness of time or the score. That's on coaching because the defense zeroed on him and he never made an attempt to adapt to the double team except to dribble drive all the way to the cup.

This is where I think our team thrives... our guys will see an open teammate and they'll kick it out. I know it's one possession so I'm not gonna make it anymore than what it is, but you've got to be aware of the score and the clock in that situation.

I dont remember ever liking a Texas HC in any sport but Sean is a fun listen.

I think it was said somewhere else but Texas looks like a team built more to run Bucky's style than either Terry or Miller's styles. They lose a lot this season but I bet Miller is going to hit the reset button on the whole thing after this year. Save maybe for the 7 foot Lithuanian.

I don't know that I'd go so far to say that they're built to play the style we play, but I just don't think they're a particularly smart or fundamentally sound team so when they get into a halfcourt game they can get really bogged down.

Yeah, I've been saying that for a few weeks that they seem better when they speed up. The issue with them speeding up is they both foul and get fouled an absolute ton. Their games end up having a ton of possessions because like 25% of them end up in trips to the free throw line. It's pretty wild.

Well is Sark in charge of the roster for the sip football team?

I didn't follow the sips after they hired Sean, did he run off a bunch of guys and bring in new ones or was stuck with roster that was already in place

Yeah he is obviously, but they did keep some pieces from last year which is a little unusual these days for a high major coaching change and I wonder if he regrets that now.

I always felt this way watching buzz teams here. We were shockingly good against high pressure teams that forced us to run more than normal.
