Curious to know if there were other, more minor, injuries that he played through this season at the urging of coach.

Whether you think the send at third was bad call or not, pretty hard to predict the type of injury Monty sustained would happen.

At what point will boosters begin to realize if they're paying the coach $3.5m and the team $15-20m that they could just get rid of the coach and buy players on their own? Hell just hire some training academy guys to teach fundamentals and then let the BMAs play fantasy baseball with the lineup.

At least pro sport has protections via strong contracts, collective bargaining, rules for contact, etc. The more this happens, the more fanbases are crossed, the greater the apathy.

I'm afraid we're past the point of no return here as well. Schools and conferences are going to have to do something to protect against outright collusion.

What is the point of watching college sports when the product on the field isn't a true representation of the name of the institution on the front of the jersey?

I don't watch pro sports because I don't have a connection to a bunch of adults that get paid to do a job and don't really care about the team they are on.

Now, when I think of college sports, why does it matter if the team wins when the players and coaches have no allegiance to the institution, only to the money they are being paid?

Why should I care about the outcome of these games that are played/coached by eternal free agents?

What return do I get on the investment of my time in watching these events?

Why should I care about any of these coaches or players and if their team wins or loses?

Been saying this exact thing to my friends, why do I go support A&M sports, they aren't A&M. I am A&M, my dad is, my grandfather is, but the coaches and players clearly aren't. They are hired mercenaries that have nothing to do with my school. So why do I support them and pretend that they do ??? I Feel like I have been lied to and got played. The whole thing feels like a scam, I am not actually cheering for A&M, these guys aren't A&M, but my brain is having a tough time telling my heart that.

From some of her other comments, I think she's pointing out Schloss and the other coaches' ongoing distractions (e.g. arranging to go to texas and all the other slimy stuff that's coming out) interfered with their attention to the game - such as Cain sending Braden when he shouldn't have, and Schloss covering for Cain (who was already part of the conspiracy, and Schloss couldn't exactly cut loose).

Who knows how many other in-game (all the way up to the championship-game) decisions this stuff interfered with.

At this point, what is the point of funding NIL deals? Players will just leave for the highest bidder at the end of the season.

Good on the players for getting paid, but why should any fan pay a free agent to play? Why should I care if a mercenary wins something? Are they really Aggies if they are only here for the money?

I don't blame any of the players for looking at their options- especially guys on a trajectory towards pro ball. Entering the portal doesn't mean they have to transfer, and if they do I'd put the blame on the spineless liars who couldn't wait til the season was over to abandon their team
