Hate being that guy, but did you mean "complicit"? If so, then I agree 100%. This was not simply "bad timing". This was a hit and announcing the firing of Pierce hours before game time was meant to be a kill shot for our CWS championship chances.


And still, we fell 1 run short. That is thanks to the players.

I get the sentiment, but who anyone is as a person will always affect that person's job.

If I'm a liar and a cheat, it will inevitably be expressed wherever I go. I won't stop being a liar and a cheat during working hours.

Schloss is a dishonorable person, and because he handled this with as little tact as a 5 year old, the whole world knows it, now.

I was very impressed with a lot of Schloss' managing through the late season, but this is a level of classlessness that I hope haunts him forever.

He threw his team, "his" university, and Aggie fans everywhere under the bus. Everything was about him. Go back and listen to his "explanation."

He deserves every bad thing coming his way.

I just don't think it's the thing to focus on. We've never had a problem with coaches cheating on their wives as long as they were winning.

I mean, sure individually we might but we haven't fired anyone over it.

I do wonder, with the change in ADs, and Trev being brought in to clean things up if this wasn't uncomfortable for POS. Or maybe CStat was just a small enough town that everyone knows your business and that was awkward.

...I mean, it can't be great to know the whole community knows that your girlfriend is using you for money and using a dozen other dudes for orgasms.

Swingers... I worked with a guy that was in some kind of organized swingers group with his wife. Learned of this after watching him chew his wife out about how much she was eating and how she needed to lose weight. It was embarrassing to be there and when they weren't around I asked a different coworker what was up with them. He explained the whole swinger's culture and how the quality of the women he could pull was directed by how attractive his wife was to swap, so that was why he cared about her weight so much. He wasn't much of a looker himself so I didn't think his wife's weight was the totality of the problem and I don't remember how old they were, but I do remember that they looked kind of rough from that lifestyle.
