Growing up in the 80s it was always B-CS. The C-STAT stuff drives me crazy.


The C-Stat stuff stemmed from people trying to call Houston H-Town after misunderstanding that Boston is not B-Town, but Beantown.

I think Stanford is one of the best 2 seeds. I'm thinking we might see a possible upset in the Oregon regional.

I think the top 3 are
Bama, LSU and Oregon's. Those are the only three I see the 1 seed possibly losing. Maybe add Texas bc we beat them so bad they are still in shock.

That would be awesome.

They do have a tendency to go on a losing streak after we beat them across multiple sports. Volleyball broke their amazing home win streak last year and they went on to lose the next 2. Is it too much to ask that they lose the first two games of their own regional?

What are the toughest 5 regionals in your opinion?

Texas is much easier than this list shows. Their opponent RPI is higher than ours.

So in the 1st round of the World Series in OKC, we would play #8-seed South Carolina or #9-seed UCLA.

OU would play Tennessee. texas would play Florida.

Baseball was like that last year. Maybe with the limited availability of tickets this season, they figured they could accommodate the visiting fans better by doing by single games rather than just day passes.

Will be interesting to see if that carries over for early season invitationals next year.

The ESPN app shows SEC Network / ESPN+ for all of the SEC teams so maybe it's regional like NFL?

The noon game is ESPN+. The A&M-St Francis is SEC Network

That is correct. They have been hosting it for a few years. I know they did when Kelbi played there. Very nice of them!

Shiner Bock, been awhile. I consumed many a pitcher 'back in the day'. Pretty darn good stuff. AND, people walking around with empty cups asking for a beer from those with pitchers usually passed on it - "I don't drink motor oil". Have not thought about that in awhile, thanks for the memories.
