So Miss St puts like 25 runs on Mizz. The last place team that swept us at home.

Georgia pitching had the most SO in any game so far this year for them and they didn't even throw their Friday starter.

And Early is still our head coach?? Head scratcher.

Is their anyone in our Athletic Department that has a sack?

If we had an athletic department worth a damn he would have been gone after Mizz debacle!

So many bad mistakes today and that is all on him.

Still no sense in letting him go now. If you're going to fire him at season's end, start your search behind the scenes and let him go when there are no more games left to play.

Just something to remember when talking about money. Bucky is making a million and a half less per year than Buzz. A&M got an additional million for Buzz's buyout. Texas had to pay A&M 2.7 million a season ago for Schloss.

And it's not like those are the only levers to pull financially, but it was worth noting when people think $3 million is just too big a hill to climb.

It is perplexing how we got swept by Missouri all 3 home games by 3+ runs each. After we led Missouri 6-1 at the end of the 4th inning of Game 1, Missouri outscored us by a combined 22-2 across the last 23 innings (8-0 in the last 5 innings of Game 1, 4-1 in Game 2, and 10-1 in Game 3). Then, Missouri gets swept by Mississippi State and lost all 3 home games by 10+ runs each. Mississippi State outscored Missouri by a combined 50-11. Consequently, Missouri finished 3-27 in SEC play, and all 3 of their SEC wins were at Olsen Field.

We can replace Earley with an up and coming JUCO Coach for $500K per year and still be much better off. You people talk like we'll need to beg an ambitious young Coach to come here.

We don't need a splash hire guy on the downhill side of his career. An ascending Head Coach who has demonstrated they have the competitive instinct and drive to be a winner as Head Coach at the SEC level should work out.
