I think getting booted from our own regional as the overall #1 seed last year was about as ominous as it gets. If Ford can't get out of another home regional this season, chances are pretty good that she'll be yet another good but not great coach at A&M.

Tbf, I do believe we have overachieved this year. Just do not have the consistent pitching or hitting and girls are playing positions they are not used to (2nd base, catcher, etc).

What is puzzling is the absolute boneheaded defensive low iq stuff we are seeing even from those playing out of their position. Again, this is club ball stuff you perfect at 10u

Poor defensive basics. Not covering first by the pitcher, then not dropping the glove to the base. This is stuff you learn when you are 10 years old.
