That Ole Miss loss was one for the ages if they don't pull a rabbit out the hat today.
Up 8 with two outs in the bottom of the 7th and one runner on base for Tech - in the playoffs. I want Tech and Canady to lose, but you can't help but chuckle and give a tip of the hat to the Red Raiders. Their coach is pretty likable too.

I like Glasco from my limited interactions with him from his time here, and of course his daughter Erin was a great catcher for us back during the Scarborough/Gibson years.
I can't root for Tech in any sport unless they play sip. I hated that for Ole Miss and I hope they win 2 today but the odds of that happening are low.

The good news is that ASU has a bit of falloff once you get through Kenzie Brown. The problem is that we will have to get through her which is not an easy task. I can only hope that they rely on her too much and we can wear her down, but I worry we will struggle to see her again today.

She allows a lot of baserunners and doesn't strike out many batters. 182 hits allowed, walks, and HBP in 114 innings and only 60 Ks.

I think starting Peters was a bad idea after ASU got their timing down yesterday.

We don't have anyone else tbh. Guess we could try a pitching by committee approach but Lessentine just gives up too many home runs. Munnerlyn is our next best option but she's more effective in relief due to her spin. Arizona State is prepared and ready at the plate. We look bewildered and anxious.
We are not a good fielding team and are hot and cold at the plate. Recipe for these types of weekends.
