Our draw wasn't particularly difficult we're just not very good.

Serious question- Why no mound visit after Freshcorn let two guys on in the 7th?

Seems like that would've been the correct coaching move to settle him down and give more time for a reliever to get ready.

The problem is that all we have are good seasons. Only a few great seasons and honestly both of those were with Schloss. With our resources we should have more great seasons. We accept good seasons way too much

He's moping on his way out to the mound too. Body language speaks a lot as a coach. Can't expect the kids to get up and stay hungry if you aren't.

To be fair, this team was very flawed. Seemed like super regionals was the ceiling for this team, but I wouldve liked to see us at least win our regional

Good pitching beats good hitting every day and USC in our regional was an absolute slap in the face and they knew it. Texas gets 3 teams that a good 12U team could beat and we get TxState, who was closer to Austin than us and USC.

Here's the thing. We are not making a change after this season. Next year the team is 100% all Earley's. It will be very clear after next year if we need to go another route or not. And the contract should not be a hinderance if another route is required.
