Unfortunately, there's too many that worship Aggie sports these days to have any sort of reasoning ability. And the acceleration of gambling hasn't helped.

The season turned when Duer went back to the field
Bad move. We could use this challenge later as unlikely as that might be.
This was a good season. Not a great one
That stretch of series wins against Vandy, Texas, LSU and Florida was a blast to watch.
But the expectation needs to be a super regional. Especially as a host team. Earley HAS to make one next year
