I get what you mean, but i would think Lots of people get better in 2 years. Particularly from age 14-16.

HHS graduate is working at Olympic Park
By Tori Brock Staff Reporter
HUNTSVILLE — As Walker County residents watch footage from Olympic Park in London during this year's summer games, they will be seeing the work of one of their own.
Heather Hilburn, a 1984 graduate of Huntsville High School, served as principle design adviser and as one of the project directors for parts of the Olympic park.
“I have a history of working on projects in the sports, arts and culture sector as a client representative,” Hilburn said.
“That's what led me to working on this particular project. One of the things I was responsible for was selecting the design consultants for the venues — in particular the stadium and aquatic center.”
The Olympic park is split into a northern and southern sector with venues and a public area. Hilburn served as the design adviser for the Southern part of the park and also helped design the public realm.
“I was great — fantastic,” she said, of working for the Olympics. “I'm going to the aquatic center in August to see one of the competitions on that day.”
Hilbern, the daughter of Huntsville residents Ottis and Bonnie Hilburn, moved to London in 1992 to work on her second degree after graduating from Texas A&M University.
“I ended up working and staying,” she said.
“Apparently there’s quite a few other Aggies who are Olympians, so that's great. I get involved in a lot of things about the development of London and regenerating parts of London that need to be regenerated. This is an Olympic project, but it’s also regeneration and the British are very proud that it's part of London.”

"He didn't have much experience there," Troy said. "I just wish he could have swam a little bit smarter race."
The decision of who would swim for the Americans in the final was closely scrutinized and hotly debated. Troy and his staff went by the book in the preliminaries Sunday morning -- they swam the third-through-sixth-place finishers in the 100 free at the Olympic trials.

Julia Wilkinson of Stratford, Ont., was considered a medal hopeful in the women’s 100-metre backstroke, but she too finished ninth in Sunday’s semifinal.
“I failed. It’s heartbreaking. Sorry,” the 25-year-old said as tears came. “You’ve got to believe you can win or else it’s impossible. It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I did everything I could. Ninth is horrible. It’s so close.”
She’ll race the 100 freestyle and a relay later in the Games, but Wilkinson mourned the lost opportunity in the backstroke.
“It might get worse before it gets better, once it kind of sinks in that it’s over and I don’t get to have the chance to be in the final and fight for that medal, but there’s a great song that I’ll go listen to and the chorus is ‘Keep on dreaming, even if it breaks your heart’ and that’s what I’m going to do,’” Wilkinson said.
