Pretty good. Looked strong for his first game but no real plays that stand out.

Roussel is fast and strong on his skates. That first goal was a thing of beauty.

Dillon with a Gordy Howe Hat Trick. Kid looks great and just what this team needs.

agreed. I like eakin, smith and oleksiak too. Especially eakin, he is so active out there. Most of the young guys that have been getting run have played pretty well so far. not so imprssed with Jordie Benn tho.

really good. He is a legit 6'7. I didnt know that players over 6'6 get to have an extra long stick, and apparently his stick is like a full footlonger than everyone elses. Basically he has a huge reach with that thing.

Of course I've also noticed where the refs have been calling A LOT more"ticky tack" calls this year it seems. I've seen more dropped sticks than ever so far this year.

Feel like I've been away from this thread for a month!

Hopefully Benn has found his stride and is gaining his confidence back.

We need to start a lottery game in which we guess which line morrow is going to play on. That being said I wasn't too upset with our lineup the other night.

I feel our d are getting more experience and more comfortable and I really like the big body presences of Dillon and Oleksiak. I've been saying it from the beginning,Dillon is a monster and I feel he is on his was to becoming the next Hatcher if he keeps up his physical play.

I'm also really liking Eakin, works hard, wins faceoffs and what he lacks in effort he makes up for in effort, the talent and playmaking will come in time.

Gulutzan finally benches Gogo! Larsen returns to the lineup.

Glen finally came to his senses....you can't keep the highest scoring Danish player in franchise history out of the lineup!!!!

Eakin played great again last night. I am loving that kid. Same with Dillon. Ive even been pleased with vincour when he has been out there.

Its kindof a red flag that they had to scratch Alex so early in the season. He is our highest paid D-Man. We gave up james neal for this guy.

Taking my son to his second game ever. He has yet to see the Stars score a goal. Hopefully they bring the offense tonight.

Drove up with the roomie for the game tonight, got some great discounted student seats and was treated to quite a showing against a formidable division rival.

Kari was spectacular as usual and the defense was a little improved. Loui got going at the end there with an assist from GoGo....two players we needed some production from as of late. I'm still impressed with the physicality of Dillon, doesn't back down from anyone. I noticed Benn playing with a little more physicality not to mention his obvious offensive presence as of late. Vincour was bumped up to the 3rd line with Vern and Nystrom towards the end of the game with the notable absence of Roussel who I hope isnt seriously injured or anything. I believe Vincour is a very underrated player on this team right now. He works hard and contributes whether you notice it or not. He also can take a hit pretty well and stands his ground. I hope we continue to utilize him more.

Overall a great win against a tough division opponent which is crucial in this season. I feel it is only fitting that positive posts on this thread should have mandatory blue stars for obvious reasons....whose with me?

Great game last night. I was impressed with the Stars not retaliating to classic Duck tactics. Felt kinda nice to give the Ducks a taste of their own medicine for once...slashing and not getting called for it. The Ducks usually get away with murder.
