Great win tonight. San Jose was definitely showing wear, but I'll take it. Good physical game, and we picked up the 2.

That Benn/Thorton fight was awesome. They must have replayed it 3xs @ the AAC tonight.

Have to give Nilstorp his props too. 31 saves and a late 5 on 3 from a shutout. He was great when he needed to be.

loving the offensive effort tonight. 4 goals through half the game.

I have never really been upset with the amount of offensive production this team has but our defensive effort is plain pathetic.

This is getting plain ridiculous, we are gonna need Kari back as soon as possible to have any chance to win games. Once again we let another 2 goal lead slip away. If you put up 3 goals or more like the stars have in the past 10 games or so you should expect to win a majority of those games. The lack of defense and goaltending is killing us right now. We can't reasonably expect the stars to go out and score 4 goals every night and try to outscore the other team without playing defense and without having solid goaltending.

At this rate, put 5 forwards on the ice for every line because we will get a boost offensively and we won't lose any defensely because there is literally none there to begin with.

Stars need to just step up as a team and play more disciplined both offensively and defensively. Just incredibly disappointed with the result of tonight's game. Loved the energy I just felt it was a bit misguided towards trying to pick fights rather than play defense.

Hopefully improvements are on the way including our starting goalie returning.

Fiddler blew that game for the Stars yesterday. Completely stupid while up by 2.

We just traded Ryder...

Traded him and a 3rd round pick for Erik Cole.
He is a forward, other than that i know nothing about him.

I kinda would preferred they aquired a dman

He adds size. He's a power forward but can also score decently. Has had a bunch of 50 pt seasons. Also Ryder is a UFA after this season and Cole has two years left. He was on Carolina's cup team too

I think joe realized last seasons 35 goals were a little bit of an outlier, that combined with his contract expiring made it a good time to sell high.

This isn't going to happen every game, but if it does we should be okay. In the meantime we need to pick up our defense.

Considering the last few games, I'm lowering my standards for rewarding the STARS the blue star but as short as the season is, I gotta give them credit for doing what it took to pick up the 2 points in Columbus in what was anyone's game.

Blue star for the Stars' recent performances, Antoine "Frenchie" Roussel has recently become my favorite player right next to Jamie Benn!

Went to the game tonight. Most frustrating game I've ever attended. Had one perfectly good goal taken away by a lazy official who just assumed Hiller had frozen the puck, one puck get behind hiller and somehow not in the net, one puck hit the inside of the post and the crossbar and also somehow stay out, then lost in shootout. The goal horn went off three times and we only got one goal. We could very well be chasing that extra point down the stretch. I hate the ducks, and Jonas hiller, and that referee.

Kari always seems to save his best for my Kings. I don't expect to lose many games when we play like we did tonight. LA out shot Dallas 40 to 21, out hit Dallas, and completely dominated on faceoffs. Lehtonen was absolutely incredible for you guys tonight.

I look forward to the rematch in Dallas on 3/31.
