The officiating has been terrible this period, which seems more common than not this season. I wish the league would tell these guys to swallow their whistles. A lot of games are getting almost unwatchable.

Agreed, very tired of all the ****ty calls and early whistles.

great game last night, really turned it on in the 3rd. I like how we are getting production from a number of different guys every night.

One of these days, Eakin's effort is going to pay off and he is going to score and I'm going to be so fired up for him. (no pun intended for his glorious ginger mane of hair).

Kari out, Bachman in. Hope it's nothing serious. After Wednesday night, I have very little confidence in this team with Bachman in net.

really bummed about Kari. He seemed to know immediatly he was injured.

Defense has looked really shaky last 4 periods.

That plus kari going down is a bad comninatiion

bachman has only stopped 21 of the last 30 shots he has faced.

Eakin's 2nd in 2 nights. That Fiddler line hopefully put some life back in this team.

Dillon! Amazing come back tonight. Even have to give Bachman his props, he's really settled down and made some nice saves.

Really scrappy/pesky win yesterday against the canucks. Great effort to not give up and I'm continually impressed with the contribution from all over the team. Im optimistic about our most unexperienced players carrying the offense (Smith, Dillon, Roussel, Eakin). Its nice to know that we can get some offense from others and don't have to rely on jagr or benn every single night. Now we just need to clean up the defensive game especially considering our goaltending situation with kari on IR. I'm biting my tongue now by praising our goaltending depth at the beginning of the year with all the recent injuries.

We have a scrappy bunch of players including the back end with bachman and its gonna be a dogfight everynight now. However this team has a fight in them I haven't seen from the stars in awhile. I'm continually optimistic and hoping that flames game the other night was just a fluke. GO STARS!

Blue star for the win in Vancouver. Kari got hurt, then Bachman surrendered 3 goals, and it looked like we might lose 6-1. Then Bachman looked to get his legs under him in the third though and our guys stepped up and got it done and finished the western Canada trip 2-1. I think 26 other teams would gladly take a 2-1 on that trip. Also big to win in regulation and keep Vancouver from getting at least a point. It might sound crazy, but I think this was a big win for our franchise. Anyone else feel the same?

I was not impressed early on and then he hasnt been in the lineup.

Also, do we know the status on Kari?

Bachs is doin a decent job he just has a terrible team playing in front of him, he just doesn't have the bail out ability of kari which has been hiding our terrible d all year, I thought with a lesser goalie we would be forced to step up our defense but this is the result instead.

I missed the third. What the **** happened?

I guess that makes up for the Vancouver game.

Hopefully Kari is back soon. They say he might be back Saturday
