30 feet in comics, probably the weight of 3-5 tanks if you put that in RL. These are only 18 feet and more slender.

I just cant wait for the moment Magneto tries to kill one and its the plastic ones.

Not that James Marsden was ever a good Cyclops but I see he is not in the cast. That kinda sucks. I guess.

But Famke Janssen is still banging for being close to 50.

Jib: I'll post the episodes you can watch, basically in "10years" humanity progressively passes legislation for registration and internment of mutants. Trask industries, a military contractor, builds sentinels to track down mutants. In the future "30 years" later the world is rubble because of the fighting between human and sentinel. There are even mutants working for humans to track down other mutants. Bishop with the help of Forge travels back in time to try and stop the key politicians to avoid the genocide of the future (for both humanity's and mutant's sake). The XMen intervene not knowing of the future but try to stop the assassination of a human by a mutant, which would make the race relations devolve in their time...

The whole series can be viewed for free here: http://marvel.com/videos/browse/movietv/50/x-men_the_animated_series?&limit=100&orderBy=release_date%20desc&variants=

Episodes of the Days of Future Past timeline are here:

Part 1 & Part 2

But Im not sure how Time Fugitives (Cable and Bishop return) fit into the story as well but here these two are (its been so long):

Part 1 & Part 2

Bill, is this story line related at all to the Civil War happenings or is that an alternate timeline?
BillOnCapitolHill
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Well I think its a different timeline, a different Earth IIRC, especially considering what the movies have already done. The Civil War includes actions from Shaw (dead since First Class) and takes the House of M storyline. Way too much to cram into a single movie.

Also, these storylines rely on the Avengers and even spidey. So Im sure there are issues of getting those rights and having a cast ($$$) of a dozen plus characters some of which are worth a few hundred million at the box office alone.

We'll just have to see what they do with it. After the Last Stand, everyone was coached to say "the X-Men trilogy, its over we are going separate ways" but if you recall, I said they would be back because this is their bank roll.

One important thing to pay attention to is Magneto being with Xavier in Days of Future Past. If the next film is a Civil War or House of M story he has to turn on the XMen. Onlyin film 1 and 3 did you really see mutant on mutant struggles. Brotherhood vs XMen.

One thing to realize is Ian McKellen is 74. So he has like 3-4 years left of being able to hold himself up. Patrick Stewart is 73 as well. But the Days of Future Past cast list on IMDB has Fassbender and McKellen listed, so they can do pre-X-Men1 movies if they want.

Or they can simply introduce a new villain like Omega Red, Sinister, Shadow King or Apocalypse.

Apocalypse movie.

Haven't read the comics since I was 11 or 12, but even then the Age of Apocalypse storyline affected me. I loved the team with Blink and Sabretooth. I'll also never, ever be able to forget the intro with Bishop climbing up a mountain of corpses.

Just dark, bleak and incredibly well written. Want to see it on screen.

Days of Future Past occurs both in the current timeline and an alternate future. It is not directly correlated with Civil War in any way though, and that movie would be impossible without Spiderman, Fantastic Four, X-men, and Avengers all being under the same studio.

The movie seems to be pretty different from the comic book version of the story. Still, anything with Sentinels has to be boss.

I remember that scene, but that doesn't explain his body returning to normal.
