With memorial day weekend and this being the big action movie coming out I think it is gonna smash the x3 mark.

I don't think I have time to see it this weekend probably going next weekend.

I really don't think it will be a smash hit at the box office. They're pushing 3D for it, which will help, but I think the limited box office of the last couple of x-films will continue. $180-220 million.

Hope I'm wrong, because I do think it will be very good, as the last two have been.

Gut reaction? It's waaaaaay better than a very good First Class. It's right there with X2.

Also, Fassbender's Magneto is right there with Jackman's Wolverine in pure, unadulterated win. With a cast full of homeruns, that one is a grand slam.

There is always someone who thinks it is the worst movie ever made. I suppose I could always have a meh reaction to it like I did Thor but this has gotten much better reviews. Hope I can see it tonight!

My brother asked me this. I think you would be well served to have seen First Class. Really should have seen X1 and 2 as well. Even having seen X3 would be of huge benefit.

Wife said this was the most boring to her, but I thought it was the best one. Definitely stay for the end credits and pay attention to the background during it, not just what's up close.
