I'll give this a test drive since Billy Bob Thornton is in it. Starts this April 15th on FX.

So excited for this. Great cast to say the least plus with it being on FX, I would be very surprised if it sucked

Everything I've heard so far is very positive, and that the pilot really takes off after about 30min. One reviewer said just enjoy as its own story. Looking forward to this.

I think so. They are calling it a 10 episode limited series. I think fx is planning to do more limited series like this.

That was an awesome pilot. Loving that it's a miniseries. 10 Eps, tell the story, and get out.

This is the first TV series like this that I've caught from the beginning. And I'm going to try and stay on top of it.

I really liked last night's episode. I thought it captured a lot of what I liked about the movie without being too derivative.

The "10 hour movie" format is interesting. One thing I liked about the original movie was that you were never certain exactly the nature of the trouble that Lundergaard had gotten himself into. It seemed apparent to me he had embezzled from GMAC. But the why behind that isn't clear. It's some good storytelling to have you wondering exactly what it is that a nice guy like that could do to get him started and so far down the wrong path...especially when the whole thing is just a MacGuffin.

But I also liked to be filled in sometimes. And this format allows for that.

Finally watched last night. Wasn't sure about it from the promos, but it was awesome. Billy Bob was great, but really, the entire cast is really good.
