I agree that the accents are annoying, but this is still a very good show.
Am I the only one that actually enjoys the accents?
I'm enjoying it. It's well plotted. I like that there are several threads out there now and I'm curious as to how they're all going to be tied up. And knowing this has a definite end where they will be tied up is great.
One thing: I can't believe all of this is on basic cable.

I do too. As I said, I have friends from Minnesota and their entire family sounds like that, with a lot of the same quirks and phrases. I know it's a little overdone for the show, but it doesn't bother me at all.
i thought i read that it would be 10 episodes, but then they would start over with a new story...sort of like American Horror Story...sort of.

I think that's the idea if it's well enough received.
The thing is, how much crime like this can really take place in this part of Minnesota? That's even a point last episode made.

This is very entertaining. All the characters are very interesting. I don't know all the names right now. But now with the deaf man and his translator descending on the town, bodies are going to start piling up and little deputy will try to handle it all.
Looking up the names of characters and found this. The Deputy Molly, is from Texas and is a baylor bear.

It was nice to see more Bob Odenkirk in episode 2 after he barely appeared in season 1. I'm surprised he had time for this, as I figured Better Call Saul would have kept him pretty busy.
Another thing I like about the show is that they are filming in locations with real snow. I hate fake snow and fake rain (when you can see sunlight and shadows behind the spot where it's "raining").
I realize it makes the continuity of the shots more difficult, but I appreciate it.

Was there any significance to the passage out of Exodus at the end?
This show so far seems like a lot of quirky characters but not really much of a cohesive story. Maybe I just need to be a little more patient.
Hm. I'm picking up a pretty good story. It's not all connected just yet. But that's the point. Seeing how they're going to ute it all up.
