When they finally reveled hitler they absolutely nailed it. The castle, the buildup, the security at the compound, the over the top fancy set, everything about that scene was fantastic. They really upped the suspense level for the hitler reveal

Hitler knows about the plot... Was not clear to me why he would allow the would be assassin into the castle?

Another thought: I do not think the Japanese couple was just included as a source of money. First, the husband was obviously probing the salesman, looking for him to show he was not a bigot, which hinted to me that there is a Japanese faction (a long with the German s) who do not support all that is going on.

Further, the wife comments that the jewelry had...whatever the word is for special power. The trade minister also used a piece of jewelry made by the same guy to access the parallel universe.

Yeah I too am confused by what she means by the "Hitler reveal". It was clear that Hitler is alive throughout the entire show.

Heydrich had a sit down with Wegener after he was captured by Smith talking about how Hitler trusted Wegener and that would allow him to get close. Heydrich also knew that Wegener provided plans for an H-bomb to the Japanese. Heydrich then threatened Wegener's estranged wife and kids if he didn't kill Hitler. I forget which episode it was.

Great show - the cut backs between Wehgner and Heydrich in the cabin were intense. No idea where they're taking season 2 or where Joe's character is going.

Looking back. They showed that heart necklace about 20 times over the season. Maybe it has a bigger significance than we realize?

It seems clear the necklace is a dimensional transport device

I'm on the second episode, and while I like it, I keep having to remind myself to forget the book. Philip K **** was a great writer, but his stories do need an action injection when put on screen.

Finished it up tonight. I'm in awe, if not also a

I also agree with those of you praising the acting in this show (save the marshall). Obergruppenfuhrer Smith's character and the man playing him are absolutely perfect. Some of the best acting I've seen in a LONG time.

No worries just a pet peeve of mine, after I posted I thought it was an inside joke I missed because two different people used the same spelling.

Now, the final episode was great on so many levels. Smith w/ his wife and recognizing the glint, Hitler being shown as a man in a high castle, and chubby checkers 'twist'

Wow. What a great show. Love the build-up with the films and the separate timeline reveal. Fringe was one of my favorite shows ever, so that was a cool final sequence.

Rufus Sewell and the guy playing Kido are freaking nails on this show.

So Rudolph Wegner did NOT plass plans for a nuke bomb to the Japanese science minister.
He passed plans for a Heisenberg device. I don't know exactly what that is but some gently google searches (didn't want to put spoilers in front of me before I was finished) led me to believe it might have something to do with dimensional shifting.

I think the "Heisenberg device" was definitely plans for the German nuke. Wegener/Tagomi were planning to start a Cold War.
I mean, Tagomi seemed to have no problem shifting dimensions without a device.
