The cinematography in this looks amazing. Shot by the same guy who did Ex Machina and it shows. Also, I'm getting the feeling more and more that Henry Cavill just might steel the show...

While his comment regarding the practical effects might be off a bit...I think the take home point is that with CGI being so prominent nowadays hearing things like this are really exciting.Quad Dog said:Pretty bold claim there considering there are decades of movies shot before CGI.TCTTS said:
"Probably the largest practical action film ever shot."
Just go ahead and inject this movie directly into my veins.

Question:
Is Tom Cruise the greatest action star ever?
I can't think of a single reason why he isn't. I would say his first real "action" movie for him is the very first "Mission: Impossible" back in 1996. That's thirty years and it seems like he's just getting better at these types of films.
Yep. I was thinking "three different decades" and instead put down 30 years. Whoops.MooreTrucker said:Ummmm.......GiveEmHellBill said:

Or maybe a CIA agent? He seems to be using his American accent again.TCTTS said:
I'm also glad that Cavill doesn't look to be an outright villain but rather a bad ass British agent who's simply trying to keep Hunt in check... or so it seems.
he's not eligible for that title until he's been in an expendables movieredbaron788 said:
So that's it right? Greatest action star ever?
but in all seriousness, i think the term "action star" has something of a negative connotation to it. because of that, if you asked a bunch of random people who the best "action star" is, you'd probably get a lot of stallone, arnold, willis, the rock, etc. in full disclosure, i'm not sure i'd have mentioned cruise either.redbaron788 said:
