Moviepass had said we'd get one peak pricing movie per month covered no charge. Something about a Peak Pass? Is that accurate?

"We could have made a conscious decision to slow down. We talked about it for months 'If we raise the [subscription] price, we'll slow down the growth' but what Wall Street really wants is to see that growth," Farnsworth said of the growing number of MoviePass subscribers, which he hopes will hit 5 million by the end of the year. "As long as you show that growth story with Wall Street, they will always be behind you."

$6 peak pricing for Mission Impossible tonight. I was a member before the massive price drop when it was $45 a month, so sure I'm still getting a discount, but this is frustrating.
With as much financial trouble they have been in, I'm looking forward to AMC's plan (A-List) of 3 movies a week at $20 a month. Anyone sign up for that?

And of course, moviepass is down and I can't check in at all.

An hour now with the system down. Apparently all users have the issue, but e-ticketing is suspiciously working.
This is shady. Just happens to be the night MI comes out.
My local theater (Harkins) charges $6 a ticket. It doesn't have the fancy seats, or a waiter, or anything like that, but it's still a great deal.TajMaballer said:

Seen 60 movies since September of last year.
At $14.45 a pop, that's $867. I've paid $110 in 11 months.
I've saved $757.
I read they borrowed $5 million yesterday. How long will that last them? As news of this gets out, I wouldn't be surprised to see a run on tickets so people can feel like they get their money's worth before things end. I have no idea how many people see a movie on a given weekend, but is it possible they don't make it until August? I assume on August 1, they'll get a bunch more cash from the monthly charges, and they are just trying to keep the service up until then.jschroeder said:
They had to borrow money at a 24% rate just to stay operating.
But on the other hand, how do you justify loaning them money at this point?
