You know you're getting old when you're more excited to see David Harbour in a movie than ScarJo.
If I ever got to that point, I would have someone shoot me in the head. And I strongly suspect that I'm older than you.

I'm just tired of her character, I guess. can't form emotional bonds, troubled past, etc. Been going on since 2012. Sheriff Hopper is 100% Awesomeness and a hero for fat guy everywhere.

This is definitely an in theater experience. For Scarlett. Then Florence. THEN David Harbour.

Was never a question for me. I'll be in the theaters with my over priced popcorn.

Saw this last night!!

Couldn't believe it but it was a FULL theater. Haven't seen that since end game. It was good energy in the auditorium.

Movie was great and was a nice return to the MCU on the big screen. Fight scenes were very visceral and storyline was compelling. If you like the Jason Bourne movies, this feels very in tune with that idea and tone. I loved the JB movies so this resonated with me.

My daughter (8) is a HUGE Black Widow fan amd has been waiting to see this for more than a year. But I always screen these movies before I let my kids see them. There is some heavy content for an 8 year old in the first act, which is to be expected if you clue in at all on the mysterious background of Black Widow. I may end up letting her see it but I'll probably have to think about how to navigate the heavier content.

Great movie!

Skipped out on the afternoon at work for a "mental health day." There we're probably 10-12 other folks in theater for the 1:10 show. It didn't disappoint.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this turned out. Florence Pugh stole the show in my opinion.

Really enjoyed this. Some plot holes for the larger story arc but whatever. How is RG explained away as the first CCCP super soldier when WS was supposedly the first up to this point? Just compartmentalization?

So, originally Elaine would have debuted here instead of FWS. Not sure if that would have softened her arrival in that or not. Her arrival is jarring regardless.

I assume we are going to see Yelena again if she's going after Clint.

Thought it was very solid. Curious how Nat gets away from Ross at the end there though.

Yelena will return in the Hawkeye Disney+ series.

Winter Soldier was HYDRA (Nazis), not Soviet.

That's right. I conflated it.

Enjoyed it quite a bit. Kind of like Marvel does Mission: Impossible and it mostly works, right down to the car chases, Lorne Balfe score, and mask switching.

The final act is kind of a mess, but man Florence Pugh was great in this, as was Harbour. I think some more background on Draykhov would have been nice, he was a pretty underdeveloped villain, but I wouldn't have wanted to lose any time that focused on the family aspect.

Loved The Americans style opening credits and that Smells Like Teen Spirit cover.

Summer movies finally feel back to me.

Some pretty good numbers. I'd be curious to know what the Disney premier access numbers are. I want to go see it again already. At $8.65 it was worth it to see again.

I enjoyed Harbour, but it was a mess. Definitely in the bottom quarter of Marvel movies for me. Maybe my least favorite one. Glad others here enjoyed it.

I didn't think it was amazing either, but it is leaps and bounds better than Thor 2, or Ultron, or Iron Man 2.

The movie had some good highs. For me, it's in the bottom rung of MCU movies. I enjoyed it about as much as I enjoyed Captain Marvel.

I'm excited to see what Val is beginning to build with John Walker and Yelena.

"Rented" it on Disney+, overall a lot of fun and agreed with others that Florence Pugh was great. Look forward to seeing her more in the MCU, and David Harbour was great as always.

One minor nitpick, how had Draghov survived? His office was obliterated in the attack where his daughter was injured.

Also wish they'd at least have had Taskmaster with a bit more androgynous build if we're supposed to believe she was in the suit.

I thought it was good, but I think all the Marvel movies (except Hulk) have been good. I do think its in the bottom half, probably bottom third, but my biggest problem with the movie has nothing to do with the quality, but if feels lost in time.

It's the first movie of phase four yet it takes place during phase three. Endgame was the final chapter of the Infinity saga, Homecoming was the epilogue and this was supposed to be the beginning of a new story, yet here we are, stuck in a place we've been before. There's no advancement of the MCU story, its not really an origin story or prequel to anything, so the whole thing feels kinda pointless. If this came out between Civil War and Black Panther, I think I would I would have enjoyed it more.

Good point. I wonder if they felt like they needed a swan song for her character.

Diversity is strength.

Just not strong enough to keep your floating terror city in the air.
