That was thoroughly enjoyable. They seem to genuinely care for each other and it felt like all egos were checked at the door.

Matt Leblanc would be incredibly fun to hang out with.

I enjoyed it, but did think parts of it were dumb... Pretty much anytime a celeb showed up. Just having them shoot the **** would have been fine. They are all very much like their characters.

Also, I read that Matt Perry had to have emergency dental surgery before they filmed. I hope that's really all it was, because he didn't sound good.

I think Perry doesn't look as bad as some people claim. Kudrow easily has aged the best imho.

When is someone going to give me a play by play of Justin Bieber and BTS's parts in this thing?

It was pretty short. BTS was part of the testimonials they had saying they loved the show. Bieber modeled Spudnik. Those parts were a combo of dumb/cheesy, but at least Bieber didn't talk haha.

I think we're watching tonight. Does Gunther come back?

So several years ago went to LA for Family vacation. Toured the WB lot, the studio where they filmed the coffee shop is still set up. Tour guide explains they were about to start filing the first episode realized no one knew how to operate the fancy coffee machine. Asked if anyone in the crowd could operate it. Gunther was in the audience and said I can, so he got put on the set

Money from Paul Rudd's rich family can do that.

The main titles segment in the extras is really cool

slightly true.

He was already cast on the show as an extra. He then landed the bigger role as we know him, because he was the only 'extra' who knew how to work the coffee machine.
He was not just random person in the audience.

I will say I was a little disappointed they didn't get Paul Rudd, Aisha Tyler, Cole Sprouse, or Anna Farris to at least call in via Zoom.

Probably the biggest recurring characters outside of Richard and Janice.

Are they inviting Gabrielle union so they can celebrate the series' lone black character?
Um, that would be Aisha Tyler you're thinking of.

I am not a diehard Friends fan (I've seen a lot of episodes, but not when they aired originally), but I really enjoyed this overall. James Corden was the worst part of this. I cannot stand him and cannot figure out how he keeps getting so many gigs.

I saw a lot of people complaining about how "Friends isn't funny" or "worst show ever" etc. When did it become cool to hate on this show so much? Sure, there is some problematic things with the show, but overall it's a funny show that is still funny almost 20 years after going off the air.

I agree with this. Don't get the fascination with him.

My daughter digs Friends and thinks it's better than Seinfeld. Obviously, she has been disowned.

Really bummed they didn't invite Ursula as well.

It has always been cool to hate on Friends. Even when the show was the biggest thing in America, there were always people who loved to say it wasn't funny. That's what happens when things are insanely popular. People love to show how they are smarter then everyone else because they don't like what's cool.

There are definitely some seasons where the show really drags, and the Ross and Rachael thing can been really annoying... but when it is at its top moments, it really was one of the funniest shows out there. The episode where Joey has to hide that he knows about Chandler and Monica by claiming it's him is one of the funniest episodes on TV for me. My wife and I still yell "Pivot" at each other when we're moving something heavy. Joey wearing all of Chandler clothes was funny.

I used to be one of those who was cynical about Friends... and I had never actually scene a full episode. It is just cool to hate it, and many probably have only seen part of of an episode or one here or there in the middle of the series.

Friends is centered so much around the characters and their personalities. To just jump into the show in season 5 for one random episode is not the best way to watch. It wasn't until I was in college that I decided to watch the series, and have loved it ever since.

Just finished watching it with my wife. Not ashamed to admit that it was very emotional for us. We started dating in high school and we would have "date nights" ordering pizza and watching Friends every week. 17 years later, watching this reunion together, it brought up so many memories and conversations. Really enjoyed it.

Ive heard of people who just never watched it or simply don't care for it. But to actively hate, no.

I thought the reunion was great. I could have done without the "Friends saved lives around the globe" perspective, which seemed really forced; would have been better to have brought back more guest stars for brief appearances. But the rest of the show was fantastic.

These types of reunions are much better than an actual scripted episode.

Yeah the globe part was really silly. "I'm in India with all these disabilities. Whew. Thank god for friends"

As much as I hate lady Gaga, I did like her little moment when her, phoebe, and a ****in choir out of nowhere did smelly cat

Think you hit it spot on. Thought it was great for the most part except the around the world stuff

Kit Harrington as an actor explaining why the actors were so good in the pivot scene was really cool.
