I'm not sure how one could come away with "no explanation on how they grabbed T'challa."
Summed up a lot of my thoughts. I rewatched Justified this year and Chadwick shows up in one of the episodes, I think in season 2, caught me by surprise. It's weird how you can develop an attachment to a character/actor, but there's something about that guy I just liked. He's in my single favorite moment of the entire MCU, when he comes out of the portal after Cap hears Sam, and just gives him a look. I still remember the theater going nuts.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
I loved that episode. I have gotten more emotional about stuff as I push deep into my 40s, but that had all the feels. If Chadwick was still alive it would have been amazing and hilarious. With him dead and gone, it was both of those things and emotionally painful/powerful, especially him welcome home back to Wakanda at the end.
The Thanos stuff was some of the funniest **** I've seen in a long time with him still trying to argue that it's not actually genocide, as well as Korath being so invested in being Starlord's best friend.
Did Bautista turn them down or did they snub him? His delievery is so recognizable that it felt really weird not to have him there.
And bulked up superhero Collector was hilarious.

Also, FTR, blonde Nebula is smokin'!
Wasn't Groot locked up in one of the Collector's Containers?TexasAggie_02 said:So much is changed by having T'Challa instead of Quill.AgTrip said:
Another thing I missed, no Gamora, no Rocket, no Groot. I get that it was more focused on the T'Challa story but with the GOTG tie-in, was at least hoping they made an appearance.
- Ravagers become the good guys
- they mention defeating Ronan and also convert Thanos, so Drax's family is supposedly saved I would guess.
- Depending on when Thanos' conversion happened, it is possible that Gamora's planet was "saved" (they were supposedly starving before Thanos cleaned it out). So she is never kidnapped
- Not sure how Nebula gets into the picture, maybe she came along before Gamora, so that part of the timeline remained?
- Rocket and Groot were a team collecting space bounties. They would presumably still be out there, just not part of the GOTG.
- Ego finds Quill and may presumably take over the galaxy...... (I wonder if the Ravagers could end up going on an infinity guantlet mission to stop Ego? that would be cool)
No, he said something about wanting Groot's body after he died.aTmLoKi said:Wasn't Groot locked up in one of the Collector's Containers?TexasAggie_02 said:So much is changed by having T'Challa instead of Quill.AgTrip said:

Well that was wrong.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
Early buzz on Episode 3 is that it's Loki winning the Battle of New York and the aftermath
That said, the sequence leading up to that REALLY made me want an animated Hulk series.Saxsoon said:
This was dark, especially with Hulk.
In the regular MCU timeline, the events of IM2, Thor, Hulk and the finding of Cap in the ice happen within a week. There was a prelude comic that was released before Avengers 1 tcalled Fury's Big Week hat shows this and catches the audience up on what leads to Avengers 1.Dro07 said:
oh i liked this episode. two things that went sideways on this one was that Cap had yet to be find but I cant remember exactly when he was found in reference to Ironman and such. Also I missed what mission Hope was recruited and what changed to cause that difference in this timeline.
of course, but they've already announced that captain carter will be back in season 2, so there will obviously be further exploration of at least some of these episodesAMW2010 said:
You do know that every episode is it's own episode right? And they are not connected
