Horrible episode for me.
Weak. This episode would have better if I actually cared for Killmonger I guess.

Average episode. Biggest drawback is it felt like only half of a story was told.

Definitely felt like a 2 parter and the voice actress for Pepper was awful
That said, I really liked it because I think Killmonger is a cool character, and through another lens, he's the hero in Black Panther. I know I'm in the minority (pun intended) of people who thought Black Panther was awesome, but having Angela Basset's character as a general leading her troops was pretty sweet.
Also felt like a lead-up to Black Panther 2 - heroes not gone, they live on who those they inspire.

The middle of this episode made no sense. By this point in the timeline, the entire world believes that Wakanda is a peaceful third-world nation of farmers. So the country decides to go straight to war and build an entire armada of future-tech drones to deal with them??

Yeah this was fine until the abrupt ending.
I watch What If while looking at my phone the whole time. I think it's the most average of all the Marvel Studios endeavors, tbh.

RDJ didn't do Tony's voice in this, did he? His voice was really grating to me.
I've enjoyed most of them. I like the relatively dark storytelling. The graphics remind me of an anime show. It doesn't feel as important as a Loki or Wandavision but it is entertaining.
I agree. killmonger is a great character.

This whole series is basically boiled down to "The devil you know is better than the one you don't" basically, for all of it's faults, the prime MCU is the best version so far.

I did not enjoy this episode. I'm not sure if it's so much this episode as it is we've seen 4(?) depressing episodes in a row. Time to lighten it up.

Before release, this series was: "I'll watch it every Wednesday."
After a couple episodes, this series was: "I'll watch it when I have free time / remember to."
After this episode, this series has become: "I'll just wait a few months and have it on while I'm doing the laundry."
I find that I just don't care about these episodes. Many of them have taken multiple sittings to get through. Just not a fan of what they're doing with it.
