You're right that it isn't ready to fire.

My guess is it's either a staged photo or a decent time after firing, because the hammer is down, but it wasn't the instant it was fired. No smoke, no recoil reaction, etc. Either way, it'd be more than time to correct it the form…

I don't think this admission really helps her case.

The circular recriminations are going to be fascinating. But it does seem to be settling on "generally unsafe workspace, this was a symptom, not a cause". Which is bad news for the producers.

Better to just say nothing. When the civil suits start they will be going after the deepest pockets. If she is somehow facing a criminal charge, talking about it can't help her in any way.

I dont buy that his kids are sitting in the car crying, personally. As a parent there's no way I'm getting out if my car to talk to people if they are crying, and certainly not both parents. And if they WERE, id probably lead with that and not use it as the excuse to duck out of the encounter that he admittedly initiated.

Agree about paparazzi, but quite honestly if we are just going off the tmz video, there isn't enough context to make too many judgments either way, except that his wife is obnoxious.

It's also certain that Baldwin is a jackass as well

The armorer's lawyers were on GMA this morning and seem to be suggesting that someone else on set snuck a live round into a box marked for dummy in an attempt to either sabotage the set or the Armorer herself.

They said she did leave the gun in question unattended for a period of about an hour and a half and when the reporter asked if she was in charge of keeping chain of custody on the firearm, they admitted that basically she was, however, she was doing two jobs - armorer and also prop specialist or something, so she was doing two roles.

Boo hoo. I wear several hats at work and I am certain that a load of people here do as well. And yes, if I mess up people can die. No sympathy.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this definitely crossed my mind. Hard to imagine how else it would have gotten there. Question is will they ever know for certain.

Doesn't seem hard to me. There's stories that these people were being pretty careless and cavalier on set, shooting live rounds. Going from that to getting rounds mixed up isn't a big leap.
