Where? If he's in an official piece marketing, even in the background or whatever, I'd say it's fair game to talk about here.

Is this where we talk about spoilers for the novel Dune that are not in the movie?

These are all from Screen Rant, by the way.

Stark tech upgrade for Doc Ock?

Not Green Goblin in costume, so who is it? Apparently Ned becomes the Hobgoblin - both hero and villain - at some point. Is this why Jacob Leeds has his head shaved and has lost about 150 pounds?

Man, if this really is Garfield, this is a definitive break the Internet moment. Hope they play him up as the bitter version of Spiderman ala Jake Johnson in Into the Spiderverse I've gone from thinking "hey cool" to "OPENING NIGHT" on this one.

(Re: the last pic) After watching the trailer last night, the idea of this being Garfield (or even Toby) crossed my mind. Garfield could make amends for losing Gwen and Toby has experience saving MJ from the first movie. ANd given the obvious hand and nothing else shot, it only adds to the speculation, perhaps on purpose. I do think they will wait to show any shots of Toby or Andrew IF they are indeed in the movie. At least I hope they do. The theater will go nuts if they show up in the movie.

The hand that catches MJ is 100% Andrew.

Does anyone else get the impression from that trailer that Doc Oc teams up with Spider-Man? From doc oc saying "you're not Peter," to way they seem to be joking around with him underground, to Peter's convo with dr strange about not wanting to defeat anyone and Strange saying it's destiny.
Thanks and gig'em

Have we talked about the statue they're building with the huge Captain America shield? Signage says "_____ Newest Avenger" but it looks like Lady Liberty still.

If it's the true Doc Ock from Spiderman 2, we know that the arms are the real "bad guy" of the movie. He saves the day at the end of that one. It could be pretty sound logic that a scientist of his caliber would be more interested in figuring out what is going on than just hell-bent on killing Spiderman once he sees this version without his mask on rather than just causing wanton destruction like the Green Goblin or Electro who just flat out hate Spider-man.

Hoping for an awkward WTF scene where Maguire sees the dramatically younger and hotter Aunt May.

Or Maguire seeing J Jonah Jameson and being like ****, this guy is eternal in every universe!

So a version of Ned becomes Hobgoblin for a short time in the comics. Would be an interesting twist if our Ned takes on that role but as an ally of Spider-Man in this universe. Sort of a "you can change your fate" type of conflict or action.

Oh wow. Yeah. They're upgrading the Statue of Liberty to replace the torch with Captain America's shield.

Wow that's dumb

Ok, based on Tom Hollands comments about maybe being done with Spider-Man, and his contract up, etc. and this trailer -- where he says the best week of his life post spider bite is when MJ knew and no one else did, I have a theory:

Tom Holland's Spider-Man is going to find a universe where he isn't Spider-Man and go be happy with MJ there and this film will introduce Mile Morales who will take over as Spider-Man in the MCU

Pretty sure Tom holland still has at least one marvel appearance in a non Spider-Man movie in his contract. Plus Tom hardy vs Tom holland is happening

Marvel can use Spider-Man in 1 more movie (per the agreement) but IDK that Holland is contracted to anything past this film.

How about an ending where MJ falls, Tom Holland can't reach her, Garfield swoops in, gets her but she still hits the ground. He looks right at the camera, shrugs, and say "0 for 2"

Fade to black.

Hot take: In the final act Garfield tries to save, but fails another Gwen Stacy. Holland truly realizes the consequences of what he's done and hangs up the suit for good. Having lost another Gwen Stacy in another universe Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker vows to travel the multiverse until he saves every Gwen Stacy from their demise. However, each universe he travels to results in a similar tragic ending to yet another Gwen Stacy. Doctor Strange knows his next foe is none other than Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker, whom he must defeat in The Multiverse of Madness. I envision it as a horror in the same vein as Tucker and Dale vs Evil, every Gwen Stacy dies in a terrible, yet comedic accident perpetrated by Peter Parker, while trying to save her. He just can't stop killing Gwen Stacy, no matter how much he tries.

But Zendaya isn't Gwen Stacy.

At this point if Toby and Garfield aren't in this movie I think it will a bit of a letdown. I think they know that and likely made it happen. Not saying it means the movie as a whole would be a letdown (it looks awesome) but I think people want that to happen enough that they found a way to work it out.

even better if they go the What If? Dr. Strange episode route and he almost destroys the multiverse.
