Holy sh*t. Just got to the Chinese Theater here in Hollywood and the line half an hour before the first showtime of the weekend, for a theater with reserved seating, is wrapped all the way down and around the block. I've never seen anything remotely like this at this theater before, save for in pictures when Star Wars premiered here in '77. This is absolutely insane and unprecedented. This thing is going to make a trillion dollars.

This is also the last place on earth I want to be stuck in line. Tourists everywhere, weirdos dressed as superheroes, musicians peddling CDs, two camera crews, and a group literally screaming through megaphones that we must accept Jesus or go to hell.
Finally made it to our seats. Where some dude is dressed as Spider-Man, walking up and down the isles, raising his arms as the entire theater (seats around 850) chants "SPI-DER-MAN! SPI-DER-MAN!" This is officially far more insane than even Endgame, which I saw in the same theater.
15 minutes past showtime and the movie still hasn't started. So many people still filing in. So much excitement in the air. This is nuts.

I just got home from seeing No Way Home, and it was amazing. Not going into detail to avoid spoilers, but if you're a big fan, you'll probably be in tears a couple times.

Truly, everything that happens, that had been rumored for months if not years now, happens in ways even better than imagined.
Like Spilner, my theater went apesh*t for this thing more than they did even for Endgame. It was seriously like being at a football game. So much dialogue missed because so many people were losing their minds, over and over and over again. Just wild, incredibly loud cheering throughout.
Man, what an experience, and what a movie.

Pretty sure I'll be seeing it again this weekend just so I can be part of the genuine crowd reactions for everyone seeing it the first time. Did the same thing for Force Awakens
Fantastic. Loved every minute.
Great movie. Probably the highest grossing since Covid. Maybe the best Spiderman movie yet IMO. Top 3 Marvel IMO as well. Great reactions from the audience. Need to watch this in the theater. Will probably watch it more than once in the theater.

That said, everything else I'm seeing seems fairly confident it's going to go over $200M domestic opening weekend.
Third highest Thursday night in history, behind only Endgame and The Force Awakens. That's some rarified air. Pretty crazy.
