This got me in a mood to rewatch the original Tobey Maguire spider-man for the first time in ages. I hadn't realized how much of a 90's Tim Burton vibe the intro credentials have.

Just re-watched the OG Spider-Man 1 and thought it was interesting that Peter and Norman's first conversation was about nanotechnology.

Also it's crazy how much different super hero movies are today.

I watched it earlier today too after seeing people talking about rewatching on this thread. Somehow I had missed it every other time I watched that the punk rock girl interviewed about liking Spiderman was Lucy Lawless.

Well than I don't really trust his decision making. Spider-Man is the cash cow and you ride that horse till it stops bucking. I'm not sure any other project he has been apart of as a lead
has been at least commercially successful.

God knows I want Uncharted to have a successful movie as its tied for my favorite game series, but I can tell you that it's gonna probably have a rough reception

I don't think they're going to jettison Holland at this juncture. He's kind of the lynchpin, the RDJ, of the new Avengers cycle, in my opinion.

I'm curious if MCU would ever go just voice over for some of it's characters. We're at the point where any character with a full face covering like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Ant-Man could be 100% CGI. The character would always keep its mask up and the big name actor like RDJ or Holland just does voice over.

True, but the backstory for the character is he literally religiously doesn't take his mask off. I don't see that working with these characters.
