I watched it, I enjoyed it. It's not going to be groundbreaking. I like the actress, so far.

I haven't watched it yet but based on the stuff I've seen with the lead, I think it will be fun. Not great but fun. Just because she seems so excited about the role and that excitement seems infectious

CGI was weak in the first episode. But it was fine otherwise.

Honest question - the first trailer leaned heavily on the Scott Pilgrim style of filmmaking. I mean heavily. Is that really a big part of the show?

Because as much as I liked Scott Pilgrim, by the end of the first trailer for Ms Marvel I was already over it.

I think he means the *click* *click* text graphics that show up on screen when a pen is clicked, or the speech bubbles that show up in a couple of scenes.

Ah, ok. So the beginning has it and then a few other times throughout, but I don't know if I would call it "heavily reliant" or anything.

I enjoyed the first episode.

The kids are super hero nerds, so most of us should relate.

Watching the actress in interviews, she gives off such an enthusiastic personality that feels perfect for who the character is. Imagine it's something that some people aren't going to enjoy, but she seems tailor made to play Ms Marvel.

I thought the first episode was decent. Definitely seems catered toward a younger audience, and a few scenes felt a bit forced, but something I'm willing to keep watching. I will say that the convention felt very small, not sure if it was supposed to just be a fan-run convention, but I mean, you'd think something in NYC would be bigger. Definitely nitpicky on my part (and almost certainly budget related), but out of everything, that bugged me the most.

Side note: For anyone that plays Overwatch, the aunt at the clothing store (the one talking about the girl who went to Europe) voices Symmetra

Teens are the main target, imo. It should still be a fun ride for adults.

I agree. The dad willing to dress up and take her to the convention is cool, but they also should have expected her to be like "eww dad, gross. how embarrassing!" She's a teenage girl, after all.

I thought the parents were awesome, they both made me laugh out loud multiple times. It wasn't meant as a slight.

That was ok. We laughed a good bit and generally enjoyed it.

That first episode was really fun. The show has heart.

Everyone knows that there was a brief post-credits scene, right?

Moon Knight was excellent. Easily top 3 of Disney + marvel series along with WandaVision and Loki.

The opening sequence was great.

I think this is actually the first marvel D plus show in awhile that the first ep actually exceeded my expectations. Parents are great. Looks like it may actually have some tie-ins to future mcu lore (her power source) and the COLOR. This is the most fun looking mcu property since Thor Ragnorak and GOTG

I enjoyed it, even though i think it was aimed at a much younger audience.

End credits treatment was top-notch. (A weird observation, I know.)
