Super fun show. Watching is going to be a regular Wednesday night with my 4yo daughter. Though the thing she talks about most is she wants to know how she got "all the way up there" (sitting on the street lamp in the promo image).
And the food truck guy yelling "Hey! It's Night LIght!"
So much to like about this show. I think the poster that said "joyful" hit the nail on the head. I can't remember the last character like this in a major studio release.

100% this. I wasn't really excited for this one, but it's been one of the most fun shows I've watched in a while. Just told my wife last night that she should start watching it too because she'll love it. And the lead actress is just . . . perfect for this show and the tone.helloimustbegoing said:

The lead actress is so joyful and fun to watch, feel like she's got huge things ahead of her. Her busting out with "Be My Baby" was great!
This show is great. The kids are excited to be in the MCU and it shows. I mean it is a show about a superfan perfectly cast as a superfan.
I haven't checked the normal fortressrs of skreed. Has there been any outcries over this episode? There were a few items that would typically cause certain groups to complain

They changed her powers for the show. Waaaaay for the better, imo.
Yeah, I think it would have been really tough to truly do the embiggening for live action without making it hokey or almost body-horror.
I don't see why people would get upset about this, other than a possible agitation about how the women are treated differently

The overall positive portrayal of muslims, the lesbian couple, the hijab being liberating comment, the menstruation talk (particularly the "gets wierd about tampons" comment).
All things that would trigger different groups.

Agreed. I was worried about how goofy she would look in live action, this seems a better way to do it.

2 episodes in and I'd recommend more folks give this show a watch. The vibe reminds me most of Hawkeye, wholesome and fun.

Finally caught up after all the enthusiastic buzz I'd heard. Even though it's not even remotely aimed at my demographic, and definitely more angsty/goofy/slapstick than I'm used to, it's so full of joy, and its charm is so infectious, that I couldn't help but be won over by it. Two episodes in, and this is easily one of the most watchable MCU series yet.

Couldn't agree more. Caught up this weekend. The vibe is Spider-man: Homecoming meets The Big Sick. So...I'm saying its pretty enjoyable.

I know it got great reviews but I never felt like The big sick got the love it deserves from a pop culture perspective. Absolutely fantastic film

Show is good, fun for whole family, acting is good, critics love it, probably a ton cheaper to produce than the other shows, I bet it sticks around unless the story just tanks as season goes on.
Leads into a feature film as well.
