Had it on while playing a game, and the eye rolling I had to give it for most of the night was at epic levels. God, listening to all that virtue signaling was the most cringe-worthy crap I've ever heard.

Lady Gaga's performance was very good. I'm also one of those crazy people who always thinks she looks best when she isn't dressed like a clown.

The best part of the entire night was Ke hugging Harrison Ford. I don't think I've ever seen Harrison Ford smile that big in my entire life.

Seeing Jamie Lee Curtis win was cool and all, simply because of her legacy, but I was surprised that was the performance that won. I did not even acknowledge it as a great performance after watching the movie, and was surprised when I saw she was nominated. Of all the actors in that movie, I definitely think Ke deserved the oscar the most.

WTF was that song that won best song?

It's still such BS that The Batman wasn't even nominated for cinematography.

Exactly what I was thinking. In fact, multiple times I thought how surprisingly little if anything there was for TexAgs to complain about in terms of politics/virtue signaling/preaching. Turns out I was of course wrong.

I can't fault her for feeling bad about losing to an inferior performance--but seriously, you were nominated for a comic book movie. That's clearly "happy to be nominated" territory.

Jamie Lee Curtis was the only nominee in the category who was LESS deserving. If they wanted to throw awards at EEAO, Stephanie Hsu played a better and tougher role.

Hong Chau was magnificent in The Whale. And I would have given the Oscar to Kerry Condon for her performance in a movie that I didn't particularly like.

I actually liked Wakanda Forever but was pretty surprise she got nominated. There was no way that role was powerful enough to actually win. Actually thought Shuri was more moving.
